Owned and operated by the Rogers family—with cultivation and management led by Hunter Tedman—the estate comprises three main plots dedicated to producing high-quality coffee. The estate takes its name from Barbara Rogers, a co-founder of SF Bay Coffee. The land, originally a mix of cattle pasture and jungle, was developed into the coffee estate it is today. Leveraging a privileged environment—featuring volcanic soil at altitudes of 1,450 to 1,700 meters, significant day-night temperature fluctuations, and frequent mist—the team crafts coffee that maximizes the unique characteristics of each variety. They are also deeply committed to sustainable, eco-friendly cultivation, preserving approximately half of the estate's land as forest. Hunter Tedman, who leads the estate, is a prominent Panamanian coffee producer who combines scientific knowledge with extensive experience in the pursuit of superior quality.
