今回紹介するアレクサンダー・エルナンデスMLゲイシャは、ウィラ地域ピタリトの農園で生産されました。ピタリトは3つの山脈が合流し、マグダレーナ川の水源が近く、独特の気候がコーヒーに影響を与えます。アレクサンダーさんとジョアナさんはカラベラ社の農業指導を受け、収穫や発酵、乾燥方法を改善し、高品質なコーヒーを生産。メインはカツーラ種ですが、ゲイシャ種にも挑戦しており、今回のMLゲイシャはコロンビアらしい力強さと白い花のような風味が特徴です。

The Alexander Hernández ML Geisha introduced here is produced on a farm in Pitalito, located in the Huila region. Pitalito sits at the convergence of three mountain ranges near the source of the Magdalena River, creating a unique climate that greatly influences the coffee. Under the agricultural guidance of Carabela, Alexander and his wife Johana have refined their harvesting, fermentation, and drying methods to achieve exceptional quality. While they mainly cultivate the Caturra variety, they have also taken on the challenge of growing Geisha. This ML Geisha offers a notably Colombian vigor, complemented by delicate floral notes reminiscent of white blossoms.
